
WEB BOOKINGS - ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking
When you make a booking you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. When you make a booking on behalf of other people you are also confirming that you are authorised to do so and acknowledge that all members of your party agree to these terms and condition.
When your booking has been made a confirmation will be sent to you by email or post, using the details that you have supplied during the booking process.
Please check the details of your confirmation thoroughly as soon as you receive it. Please contact us immediately if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete. We will always do our best to rectify any mistakes or accommodate any alterations you want to make. However, we cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not bought to our attention or for any incorrect information you have supplied.
2. Payment
The credit card number entered to make the booking is used as a guarantee only. A charge will not be made unless a cancellation is made or you fail to arrive. (see below). Payment in full must be made at the hotel. Unless stated as part of your booking, additional items such as (but not limited to) food, drinks, newspapers, telephone, wifi, etc are all chargeable and must be paid for before leaving the hotel.
4. Cancellation or Non Arrival
Bookings may be cancelled up to 6pm the day before arrival without charge.
If a cancellation is made after this time or you fail to arrive, the accommodation for the first night will be charged to the credit card number given at the time of booking.
Any remaining part of the booking will be cancelled after 10am the following day if we have not received any further instructions from you.
Where a cancellation involves multiple rooms, the charge will apply to each room cancelled.
We will only make a charge if we are not able to resell the room.
5. Prices
All rates quoted include VAT at the appropriate rate. Whilst every effort is made to honour the prices quoted, Lysses House reserves the right to apply increases in the event of changes in Government legislation or tax rates.
We also retain the right to increase or decrease the price of any unsold rooms or packages at any time. The price of your booking will not increase once you have received your confirmation.
6. Settlement Terms
Balance of payment is required in full at the end of your stay.
7. Damage
Any damage caused to the hotel, fixtures and fittings or equipment will result in a charge to remedy any such damage. This also includes any costs we incur in order to clean a non smoking room as a result of a customer smoking in the room.
8. Cancellation by Hotel
In the event of an emergency or natural disaster and the hotel has to cancel any booking, an alternative date or venue will be offered.
